Ball Corporation Scholarship Program
Jul 19th, 2010 by admin
Ball Corporation established a scholarship program in 1982 which honors the late John W. Fisher, former chairman, president and CEO of Ball Corporation, who was a long-time supporter and advocate of higher education.
Every year Ball Corporation awards four scholarships in North America and three in Europe. These students, all children of Ball employees, are selected for their outstanding academic excellence and involvement in numerous extracurricular activities within their schools and communities.
Each student receives $3,000 (€2,000) annually for a maximum of four years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever comes first. The money can be applied to tuition, books, housing, fees and other costs normally incurred at an accredited educational institution.
